Licensed pediatric occupational therapist with over 24 years of experience
Johanna is a licensed pediatric occupational therapist with over 24 years of experience in sensory integration and neurodevelopmental therapy. She earned her degree in Occupational Therapy from Loma Linda University and began her career working in the school system and home health. Upon moving to Florida, she found her love and calling working with children with sensory deficits as well as assisting with beginning a program for children with Cerebral Palsy requiring the use of a wheelchair. Her expertise spans autism, Down Syndrome, sensory processing, developmental delays, and learning differences. Johanna thrives in working with local churches to create sensory friendly classrooms as well as buddy programs to maximize inclusion and access during children's meetings. During treatment, Johanna brings a nurturing, intuitive approach to therapy. Johanna also has a passion for children in the foster system as well as children who have been adopted. She is a foster and adoptive mother and has four children. In her free time, Johanna loves to do anything involving water (going to the beach, paddle boarding or hanging in the pool) with her kids.
Evidence-based care, joyful connection, and real-world results for every child.
